HB 63 would require school boards to install armed gunmen in all Kentucky schools by August 2022.
HB 461 is similar to HB 63, but sets the timeline to July 2025 and allows them to be armed with tasers or guns.
HB 63 passed out of the House with a vote of 78-17. It is now before the Senate Education committee.
