Georgetown City Council - Primary

Due to the late withdrawl of one candidate, all 16 remaining candidates in this primary will advance to the general election, and the votes for this race will not be tabulated. Below is the statement from the Scott County Clerk:

Due to the withdrawal of Harold Dean Jessie, a candidate for the office of Georgetown City Council, on Thursday, April 4, 2018 and pursuant to KRS 118.212(4), any votes cast for Harold Dean Jessie or any of the remaining sixteen (16) candidates for the office of Georgetown City Council will not be tabulated in the upcoming Primary Election to be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.  The remaining sixteen (16) candidates will immediately become certified for nomination for the nonpartisan office of Georgetown City Council to be voted for at the General Election to be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
