Sign-on letter to Congress calling for transformation of rural electric cooperatives
On February 23, 2021, a letter signed by 100 organizations - including KFTC - was sent to members of Congress, urging support for a 7-part platform of policies to transform rural electric cooperatives and the communities they serve. KFTC and Mountain Association are founding members of the Rural Power Coalition, which drafted and circulated the sign-on letter.

Karl Rabago Testimony on Solar Net-metering to KY Public Service Commission
KFTC and our allies at Mountain Association for Community Economic Development commissioned expert testimony from Karl Rabago, a nationally recognized expert in distribute renewable energy. He provided this written testimony and testified in person on November 13, 2019 at a hearing held by the KY Public Service Commission about how the KY PSC should establish a fair value for rooftop solar in Kentucky.
