Appalachian Hero Awards Ceremony and dinner hosted by the Appalachian Community Fund at the Eastern Kentucky Social Club in Lynch, KY
Saturday, September 13
7:30 - 9 a.m.
Local foods community breakfast at Greater Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Lynch
9 - 10 a.m.
Opening session at the Benham Theater, 20 Circle Park Road, Benham
10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Choose your own adventure by visiting any of the following options (this list is still growing)

4 - 5:15 p.m.
Recap and Reflections at Appalshop Theater in Whitesburg
6 - 7 p.m.
Picnic dinner at the home of Mike & Marcia Caudill in Carcassonne. Opportunity to view their garden and a nearby family cemetery on edge of strip-mine. If it is raining, we may move to a nearby picnic shelter.
7 - 9 p.m.
Carcassonne Square Dance at the Carcassonne Community Center. A shuttle will be provided to and from our dinner location.
Sunday, September 14
9 a.m. - ?
Choose among many options to attend local worship services and/or hike and swim. Our printed program will provide directions to Bad Branch Falls, Blanton Forest, Black Mountain Thunder Zip Line, Lilley Cornett Woods, Kingdom Come State Park, and numerous local churches.
