Building a bright future on Pine Mountain | Kentuckians For The Commonwealth

Building a bright future on Pine Mountain

Join the Letcher and Harlan chapters in our next big adventure. Keeping with the "bright future" theme, we plan to help get Wiley’s Last Resort, Letcher County's favorite campground, in great shape for the upcoming season of camping, hiking, music, art, tourism, and community.

Work begins at 11 am; Cookout & potluck at 6 pm; Music, poetry, and art at 7 pm, including unveiling of murals, mosaics, and more!

Come when you can.  Leave when you have to.  Everyone is welcome to camp on site Friday and/ or Saturday nights.

If you can, bring friends, a side dish or dessert, boots, gloves, loping shears, rakes and other tools (chainsaws, hand saws, shovels, swimming pool skimmers for the pond, etc) and musical instruments.  We're gonna work some, eat plenty, sing, dance and have a great time!

If you've never been to Wiley's Last Resort, and even if you have, please check out the website for helpful information, pictures, and a little history.
