Georgetown College Social Justice Workshop

The Sociology Club is hosting a Social Justice Workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 31st at 7pm in the Hall of Fame Room. We would love for you to join us to learn about organizations on campus who seek to combat injustice in some way.

Organizations will include the Student Abolitionist Movement, Student Women and Gender Society, Campus Spectrum, Georgetown Sustainability Initiative, Ambassadors of Diversity, and Common Ground (Campus Ministry).

This workshop will be an outlet for students to see that one can look at different social issues through a sociological perspective in order to address the problems at hand. Our event will also act as an opportunity to showcase each organization's work and our shared vision of social justice.
