Helen Mathews Lewis reading
Helen Matthews Lewis, a founder of Appalachian Studies and activist in the region, with co-editor Judi Jennings and friends, will read and discuss the new book, "Helen Matthews Lewis: Living Social Justice in Appalachia," published by the University Press of Kentucky. Followed by refreshments, book signing and piano music by Elise Melrood. This event is co-sponsored by the Department of Gender and Women's Studies at the University of Kentucky.
