Kentucky Exoneree Tour with Randy Steidl (Prestonsburg)

The ACLU of Kentucky, in partnership with the Kentucky Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty will host a series of events with death row exoneree Randy Steidl in Eastern Kentucky the week of November 14.

Steidl was released from prison May 28, 2004 after spending 17 years behind bars (12 years on death row) for a crime he had nothing to do with. Steidl visited Kentucky colleges three years ago and is returning to visit faith-based groups, civic clubs, and small community gatherings to share his message, “You can release a man from prison, but you can’t release him from the grave.”
