KFTC Voter Empowerment Training Day | Kentuckians For The Commonwealth

KFTC Voter Empowerment Training Day

KFTC seeks to build and promote an authentic, participatory democracy.  Join us at this training to learn more about KFTC's approach to empowering voters and give you the skills needed to help empower voters next year and beyond!

KFTC's voter empowerment work is:

  • Long-term: not focused solely on election day
  • Issue-focused:  rather than focused on candidates or political parties
  • Grassroots:  from the ground up
  • Inclusive: focusing on communities that are typically marginalized

We use multiple strategies to build toward this democracy.  These strategies primarily focus on voter registration, voter education, and voter mobilization.  We also strive to get better elected leaders by creating space for good candidates to run, briefing existing candidates about important issues, and giving people the tools they need to run for office.

Join us at this free training day to learn more about all of this work.  To attend, please RSVP by emailing Carissa Lenfert at [email protected] or calling 502-208-1696.  Lunch and snacks will be provided
