Madison County Chapter Friend-Raiser
The Madison County KFTC chapter is celebrating another great year of working for social justice and they are doing it with a bash. The bluegrass jam band The Blind Corn Liquor Pickers will be headlining the event. It will be at Irvine McDowell park (345 Lancaster Avenue) in Richmond on Saturday, August 4th from 4:30 to 8 p.m. for an evening of family-fun, food, games, silent auction, and live music. So come out and help celebrate KFTC's rich history of fighting for justice.
The event is open to all and there is no admission fee. KFTC is asking all attendees to bring a side-dish to share, your own reusable dinnerware, and a donated item for the silent auction (baked goods, homemade items, and donated time or service are always popular). The potluck will start at 5 p.m. and live music will start at 5:30 p.m.
