Shelby County chapter meeting

Please join us in the Stratton Center in Shelbyville at 6 p.m. as we discuss upcoming actions on fairness and reforming Shelby Energy.

We will open with words from Jefferson County KFTC activist Mary Love about setting goals, planning actions and succeeding as a KFTC chapter.  And we will hear reports from members who attended the inspiring KFTC annual meeting in October, where Shelby County KFTC received an award.

But our focus will be on actions in November to present a Fairness Ordinance to the Shelbyville City Council and collecting signatures on a petition to Shelby Energy to adopt a Members Bill of Rights.

We also want to hear suggestions for winning those campaigns and other issues to address.

Everyone is welcome.

After this meeting, our regular monthly meeting will switch to the third Thursday of each month, starting in January 2013. No December meeting.
