Join the fight for tax justice

Kentuckians For The Commonwealth is ramping up our organizing efforts around fighting for tax justice in 2017. We’re approaching a moment of urgency for this work, and want you involved. Below you will find several opportunities for you to get involved in this campaign and organize for economic justice in Kentucky. Please register for and/or share out this information to folks in your circles who's voices should be at the table for this work.

You will leave this training with a brief overview of KFTC's organizing strategies for tax justice, what Governor Bevin is planning this summer for his special session on taxes, what messaging and framing we're using to challenge bad tax policies in advance of the special session, and then we'll practice having a meeting with a legislator and conversation with a stranger using the information we just talked about. Our end goal is that we all feel comfortable and confident to take this work back with us to our organizations and communities.
