Caitlin Sparks joins KFTC staff; Gregory back to school, Funck to intern

Caitlin Sparks is the newest member of KFTC’s staff, just joining as a member of the Communications and Development Team.

Sparks has a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts degree from Northern Kentucky University. She lives in Covington with her partner, Jason Gray, in their 100-year-old house.

“I became involved in environmental justice after living in Yellowstone National Park for a couple of years,” she shared. “When I returned to Kentucky I learned about design and communications and set out to use my skills for good.

“Via Numediacy.com and art making endeavors, I’ve shared my ideas through photography, fiber arts, multi-media installations and video story-telling. I’m honored and excited to work with the KFTC movement and build a better Kentucky.”

In KFTC’s London office, Carrie Gregory has returned to being a full-time student after a summer of work for KFTC. Gregory interned last summer with KFTC through her high school, and this year we asked her back to help with a number of administrative tasks.

Adam Funck is now interning in KFTC’s Berea office through a Berea College program and is already busy with Voter Empowerment work. “By working with Kentuckians For The Commonwealth, as the new Berea College Student Intern, I have made it my full-time campus labor position to continue to help the students of Berea College come together and work for a community and a Kentucky that is fair and just for all Kentuckians,” said Funck.
