Dining For Democracy a Success!

The Northern Kentucky chapter of Kentuckians For The Commonwealth was honored as the 'Charity of the Month' at Lucky Duck Pub on November 28th. The charity of the month is a non-profit working in the area that the restaurant will donate 10 percent of all sales from the day to.
The chapter worked hard to spread the word about the event, and a dozen members came out to show their support both for the local business and their chapter. Members enjoyed conversations with each other, live music, games, and talking to other patrons about the work KFTC is doing in Northern Kentucky.
The event ended up raising $180, and the chapter recruited 5 new members! The chapter looks forward to being the charity of the month again sometime in the new year.
