Here are some great numbers about our work and turnout in Kentucky.  Note that some of these are tentative or estimates (precincts not yet reporting in, etc.) but are very close to what the final numbers will be.


Turnout


- 1,825,848 - Kentuckians voted this election


- 62.8% - Percent voting in Kentucky


- 69.7% - Percent voting in KFTC Chapter counties



KFTC Voter Empowerment Numbers for this year


- 3,000 voters registered directly, plus thousands indirectly


- 83 Hours - Length of Operation Voter Madness, a mad continuous marathon of voter registration leading up to the deadline


- 18,000 people in our database we had at least one documented conversation with each


- 15,000 people in our database we had at least two documented conversations with each


- 9,000 people in our database we had at least three documented conversations with each


- 4,300 people emailed about the election three times each through our database and over 10,000 more we contacted by email through allies and members.


- 34,000+ pageviews on KentuckyElection.org this election cycle, helping people to get information on candidates, voting locations, and more


- 14,285 voter guides printed, most sent by mail to our contacts - including a statewide guide and four local guides for specific areas.


- 46 - number of candidates responding to our candidate survey


- 14 - number of part-time Electoral Organizers spread out across the state doing awesome work


- 5,250 - People pledged to vote in Kentucky through our organizing on Facebook


- 1 Great organization of 5,667 members that made a big difference, incrementally working to fundamentally change our democracy to make it representative of all Kentuckians.
