Election Day Report from Bowling Green
Posted by: Dave Newton on November 3, 2008 at 07:00pm
Although their timezone is an hour behind the rest of us and polls have just opened there, our Western Kentucky members have hit the ground running, passing out literature on Main Street in Bowling Green starting at 6am.
They've already worked through their call-lists and are spending the whole day in the field, talking to people on the streets at various locations, running a sound car starting later in the morning, and even have a bike parade scheduled for 4pm to 6pm to bring the last of the people to the polls right after work, but before they close. *whew*
