Election Day Report from Bowling Green - This Parade is brought to you by People Power

This Parade is brought to you by People Power - A report from Bowling Green.

We have just finished our voter empowerment campaign. We have been faced with a couple of stressful days but we have had amazing success stories.

Here are a couple of highlights of what we have done.

This morning we hung two large vote signs from the parking structure at WKU. They were painted last night my Volunteers.

We placed voter awareness signs in the areas that we worked in this morning to help get out the vote.

We dealt with some voter disenfranchisement issues in a very fast and diplomatic way. This was thanks to some of our diligent members in the Communities.

We had a star from Star wars, Chewbacca, working the streets today with a go out and vote sign.

We also had Parades today to get people to the polls. These were amazing to be part of and Hear coming down the street. They were a grouping of bikers, A sound car, A drum circle and amazing people. We drove though areas and had a parade. we were met with smiles and cheers and also What the hell is that. We also had a Huge(the head was three feet tall) Uncle Sam Puppet that Rode in the truck. We have some Great Photos.

All in all We have done Great. I have heard some of the stories on here and I am blown away. This has been a great season and I am proud to be part of the birth of the KFTC Chapter in Bowling Green. These past couple of weeks have shown that KFTC is not powered by money or Politicians. KFTC is powered by the amazing beautiful people that pour their energy into goals that help people help themselves. KFTC is  truly people powered.

Pictures of the day to come.
