Posted by: Dave Newton on February 16, 2012 at 07:00pm
House Bill 70, our constitutional amendment to restore voting rights to former felons who have served their debt to society, passed he Kentucky House yesterday with a wide margin - 78 to 18. Please take a moment to look at the vote history and thank your Representative if he or she voted yes.
Now the bill moves to the Senate where it will be assigned to either the State and Local Government Committee or to Judiciary. Please keep those calls coming in to your Senator and to Senate Leadership in support of HB 70!
