Jefferson County Members attend Mayor's Neighborhood Summit

Members Mary Love and Linda Stettenbenz from Jefferson County attended the Sixth Annual Mayor's Neighborhood Summit held at the Louisville In
ternational Convention Center. It was a full-day event, which featured keynote speaker Garland Yates, and included tabling, workshops, and the Good Neighbor Award ceremony. 

Lots of folks stopped by the KFTC table to talk with Mary and Linda about KFTC issues, to sign petitions, and to talk about joining as new members.  Workshops attended by Mary and Linda included:  Grassroots Initiatives, Working From the Ground Up; Community Building and Organizing, and Let's Party! Planning a Successful Neighborhood Event.  And to top off the day, Mary and Linda both won great door prizes!
