Kentucky Rep. Ed Whitfield agrees to co-sponsor the Clean Water Protection Act!

Word just came in from our citizen lobbyists in Washington, D.C. that Kentucky's 1st district representative, Ed Whitfield, agreed to co-sponsor HR 1310, the Clean Water Protection Act! That makes the 3rd Kentucky representative to sign on as a co-sponsor, the other two being Reps. Ben Chandler and John Yarmuth. Our in-person lobbying combined with our national call-in day is really paying off. For a coalfield state to have half of its House members supporting the CWPA is big news. Now let's get to work on Reps. Rogers, Guthrie, and Davis!
