KentuckyElection.org Launched! - 2 weeks until the Election
KFTC has just launched our non-partisan voter education website at www.KentuckyElection.org.
This is a great place to learn more about the candidates who are running, find your voting location, and otherwise remove any barriers that might stand between you and voting on Tuesday, November 2nd.
In the 2008 Election, this website received over 34,000 page hits and we expect it to again play a central role in our voter education plan. We'll continue to expand the website over the next few weeks to include more local races, peripheral information, etc. We're also continuously open to adding responses of candidates who have so far failed to get them in to us.
In other news, today is exactly two weeks from Election Day, and KFTC has an intense program of work in the next 14 days including tons of member-driven phonebanks to hit our goal of calling 50,000 voters, plus candidate forums, rides to the polls, door-to-door work, sound cars on Election Day, etc.
Please consider getting involved in our Voter Empowerment work at this critical juncture. Contact your local KFTC Organizer or check our calendar of events to see how you can connect with this work in your community.
And above all, please take the time to learn about the candidates and vote on Tuesday, November 2nd - and talk to your friends about voting too.
