KFTC Facebook group growing by leaps and bounds
Kentuckians For The Commonwealth's Facebook community has grown by leaps and bounds in recent weeks, building to now over 2,000 members.
For folks not familiar with this networking tool, Facebook helps connect people on college campuses and communities across the world and is especially popular amongst your people and college students.
Kentuckians For The Commonwealth's Facebook page was started by KFTC Member and UK intern Joe Gallenstein and has since become the largest Kentucky political Facebook group, nearly the size of the Beshear supporters' community and the Fletcher supporters' community combined.
As a tool, we use the group to mobilize people with action alerts to call legislators. For example, nearly 2,100 people pledged to vote through a Facebook "Event" organized by KFTC.
Later this month, we'll be launching a massive Electronic ask for people to become Members of Kentuckians For The Commonwealth through Facebook.
You can sign up to get a profile at www.Facebook.com and if you're already on Facebook, please look up Kentuckians For The Commonwealth!
