MSHA to host live chat Wednesday morning
Posted by: Amy Hogg on April 26, 2010 at 08:00pm
The federal Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) will host a live chat at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 28. Comments gathered during the chat are not officially a part of the formal rulemaking process, but this is a good way to make your concerns about mine safety known to this regulatory agency. For details about the chat, follow this link.
And here's a link to The Charleston Gazette's Coal Tatto blog that will give you more information about new rules MSHA is considering.
Also, visit our blog post with links to news, analysis and opinions about the West Virginia mine disaster. We recently added a link to President Obama's eulogy to the dead miners, delivered in West Virginia on Sunday, April 25.
