NKY students register voters
This weekend northern Kentucky members helped support students in Fort Thomas do voter registration as part of the March For Our Lives movement.
The students, most of whom attend Highlands High School in Fort Thomas, canvassed in various neighborhoods around Fort Thomas to make sure that people were registered to vote. They also used the opportunity to talk about the issues they care about, including fighting gun violence in our country.
The dozen students that participated knocked on more than 200 doors, registered 10 new voters and left materials pointing people to KFTC's online voter guide for the May Primary.
Students are excited to continue this work leading up to the primary, but are most prepared for their upcoming March For Our Lives this Sunday (March 24) at Tower Park in Fort Thomas. KFTC will be supporting the event by doing voter registration, and helping promote turnout.
