Northern Kentucky continues going strong! More volunteers are showing up in Newport to help get out the vote, continuing to call people to remind people to vote!

With the arrival of two additional volunteers three members took the opportunity to take a turn in the infamous Kentuckians For The Commonwealth election "sound car."

Emily Martin, "It was so exciting to get to vote. It was even more exciting to volunteer, because it gives me the opportunity to remind people that voting does make a difference. We had a lot of people tell us that they were glad to see us reminding people to vote."

"Our cheers really got people's attention. It definitely got people's response, though it was hard to compete with one candidate's gimmick of having cookie monster. Though, I think I would rather hear from people in a car than a fictional character."

"I want to let it be known that it was my idea to have the  members in the car to do more than just chant to remind people. That they should really cheer them on to encourage them to vote." - Tony Zeller

"I think everyone should vote, because people too often don't realize that one voice does make a difference. And there was no better way to show my energy than by doing the sound car! We even got to make up our own little vote cheer to inspire the people in Northern Kentucky to vote." - Kristina Stewart
