Proposition 8 and Fighting for LGBT Rights, and Love
Last Tuesday, among many other important elections and ballot initiatives that were decided across the nation, three states passed ballot measures against gay marriage. The largest and weightiest of these was Proposition 8 in California.
A similar ballot initiative was proposed in Kentucky in 2004 and KFTC took a strong stance against it and in solidarity with our LGBT allies throughout the state. Sadly, we lost that fight as well.
