Rolling Bluegrass Prepares for MLK Day Celebrations
The Rolling Bluegrass chapter will again be celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr. Day by working the local Georgetown - Scott County NAACP. The chapter has purchased a table to support the NAACP at their yearly Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast fundraiser - happening on January 19th at the First Presbyterian Church in Georgetown at 9 Am. The church is located at 317 E. Main Street in Georgetown, Kentucky.
The chapter will also be attending the annual Martin Luther King Jr. March and program on Sunday the 21st at 3:30. Folks will gather at the Craile Student Center at Georgetown College at 3:30 to hear from keynote speaker Dr. Dwight Webster, and begin marching from College Street at 4 o'clock. There will be a program to follow at John Hill Chapel at Georgetown College.
