Scott County Members Take to the Phones to Mobilize Voters
Last night, Scott County KFTC members and Scott County NAACP members came together to call people and bring them out to vote in Tuesday's Election. It was a humble group of 5 of us, but we split up a call list of 300 KFTC members and friends and got to work breaking down any barriers that might stand between people and voting.
We looked up voting locations, pointed people toward www.KentuckyElection.org, sent print voter guides to people without internet, and generally got people mentally ready and committed to go vote on Tuesday.
We have a statewide voter mobilization phone bank scheduled for Monday night 6:30pm to 8pm that people will be able to call into from any phone along with a computer and internet connection. If you're interested in participating, please contact Dave Newton at [email protected].
