Tomorrow (Tuesday) is the Primary Election
Posted by: Dave Newton on May 15, 2011 at 08:00pm
Tomorrow's the day when voters from across our Commonwealth will head out to the polls and vote to narrow the field of candidates to the Democrats and Republicans who will be squaring off in the November General Election.
Take some time today to learn about the candidates and find a time between 6am and 6pm to vote tomorrow. You can learn about the candidates, issues, voting locations, etc. at KFTC's election website www.KentuckyElection.org.
There's also still time for you to do more than just vote:
- Call some friends and family and make sure they're all set to vote tomorrow too.
- Send out an email to friends, reminding them to vote and pointing them towards resources like KentuckyElection.org to make voting easier.
- If you're on Facebook, post something about the election to your wall or even invite all of your friends to pledge to vote through our Primary Election Event on Facebook.
- Volunteer with KFTC for some last-minute work like giving rides to the polls, making phone calls, holding signs on Election Day, or passing out Voter Guides. Contact your local KFTC Organizer to get involved.
