Unions and KFTC members come out to challenge Gov Scott Walker
Posted by: Dave Newton on September 16, 2011 at 08:00pm
KFTC members and friends including union workers from Teamsters Local 651 rallied together in the rain on Thursday morning in response to a visit from Governor Scott Walker from Wisconsin.
Earlier this year, Walker lead a push in Wisconsin to severely weaken the bargaining power of unions.
About 70 people made it out to the rally overall, which is a good deal more than the number of people who came out in support of Governor Walker to hear him speak.
