Visit to Woodford County Schools
Posted by: Dave Newton on October 19, 2010 at 08:00pm
Yesterday, some KFTC folks visited classes at Woodford County High School to talk to them about Kentuckians For The Commonwealth and to also invite people out to tomorrow's Youth Candidate Forum at UK.
Callie Thomas, a recent graduate of WCHS, was part of the visit and did a great job talking to people about KFTC's work.
Callie actually learned about KFTC for the first time at a similar class presentation two years ago and then got involved in college last year. Now she's heading up our organizing at UK.
In total, we talked to about 110 students, 35 of which say they'll come out to tomorrow's youth candidate forum.
