Voter Empowerment Update - Debates, Data, and www.KentuckyElection.org

Picture 319

There's a lot of little Voter Empowerment updates today, so we're lumping them into one entry.

First up, the fourth and final debate is tonight at 9pm.  Check it out and watch it with friends to help inform your decision on the big presidential election in 20 days.

You can get a transcript of all previous debates and this one when it's over on the Commission on Presidential Debates website

In other news, KFTC has completed the not-so-sexy, but monumental task of entering in all of the new contacts we 've made through voter registrations and petitions so we can be in touch with these people and remind them to vote.  The total is over 18,000 people we've contacted and will be in touch with two more times between now and November 4th (that's 3,000 more than our goal, including 7,500 people which are new contacts for this year!).

This represents a lot of groundwork by members and electoral organizers really getting out and bringing more people into our campaigns and making them stronger.

And in terms of entering the data itself into our database, hats off to Rachel Lewis, Cara Meyer, Faye Liebermann, Candice Watson, Christa Schenkel, Amanda Lloyd, Lisa Conley, Erin Stayton Fisher, Jan, Ian McHugh, Chelsea Oliver, Daniel Stearman, Jesse, Mary Hano, Talaya Seitz, Kim Hoffmeister, Shevawn Akers, and Ken Johnson.   Thank you all!

And finally, www.KentuckyElection.org has been updated yet-again with information about the various Madison County elections.  Check it out and share it with friends for critical information about candidate stances, voting locations, and more.
