Voter Registration - in Scott County and elsewhere.
Posted by: Dave Newton on September 13, 2011 at 08:00pm
This week, KFTC members including Nick Pennington (pictured right) registered dozens of Georgetown College students as part of KFTC's continuing integrated voter registration campaign.
The deadline to register or update your address to a new county is Tuesday, October 11th.
Students have the right to register in the county they're going to school in if they want, which is often the most convenient choice.
If you'd like to register to vote or update your voting address, you can visit your local county clerk, come out to a KFTC event, or print a card and mail it in.
You can also help organize your own voter registration drive, and KFTC will help out. It's fun, easy, and can make a big difference in our democracy.
