Central Kentucky Chapter Meeting & General Assembly Training
It's a new year and we're excited about what's in store for Central Kentucky KFTC!
Join us for our monthly chapter meeting. We'll focus this month on the upcoming General Assembly -- how we can engage from home or in person, how to craft our vision for a more just Kentucky, and how to navigate the ever-shifting waters of the legislative session.
All are welcome. We strive to make our chapter meetings accessible to all. If you require special accommodations in order to participate, please give us a shout at [email protected].
The space:
The Episcopal Mission House is located at the corner of 4th and MLK in Lexington, just across from the Living Arts and Science Center. The building is wheelchair accessible via an elevator at the main entrance (the "back door" right at the edge of the parking lot). The space has an additional room that we reserve for any children or young people who might want to come and hang out in their own space while our meeting is in session. We welcome babies or young children in our meetings, but and also have a separate room with games and art supplies available.
For families with small children: we strive to make our chapter meeting space a place where children feel welcome. We encourage kids to sit in on our chapter meetings, or play games, make art, or read in the adjacent room. Additionally, we're happy to provide childcare for children who may need adult supervision. If you'd like to request childcare, please message us in the event, email [email protected], or text 901-409-2554
