Public hearing on Stream Protection Rule
The U.S. Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement has issued a draft Stream Protection Rule that is supposed to protect streams from the impacts of coal mining. This Lexington hearing (one of six around the country) will allow the public to comment on the proposed rule. Speakers will have up to two minutes each.
