State of the Commonwealth Address live screening and discussion
As we head into the 2019 elections in Kentucky (Governor, Secretary of State, Treasurer and others), it’s more important than ever that we look for opportunities to shine a light on the many ways our current administration is hurting Kentuckians. From Medicaid restrictions to blatant and covert racism, our governor must be held accountable for his words and actions.
Governor Bevin will be delivering his State of The Commonwealth address next Thursday, February 7th at 7:00. This is the governor's yearly address to Kentuckians, where he'll declare his legislative priorities and set the tone for the majority party.
We’ll be hosting a live screening at the Wild Fig beginning at 6:30, followed by a group debrief and analysis. We'll ask -- how does our vision for Kentucky differ from our governor's vision? How can we achieve our vision through building governing power in 2019?
Come watch the the governor's address with us and join in the discussion. All are welcome!
