Kentucky lawmakers divert millions from student aid

Ten of thousands of Kentucky students who qualify are being denied financial aid to work toward their college degrees. That's because Kentucky legislators are diverting funds for other uses. The number has increased dramatically in recent years, as the chart from the Lexington Herald-Leader shows.
