KY Residents with Pre-Existing Health Conditions Worry Over ACA's Fate

Kentuckians living with diabetes, cancer, asthma and other chronic health conditions are worried about the fate of the Affordable Care Act, which bans insurers from denying coverage based on pre-existing medical conditions.

Fixing What's Broke, Updated 2019

This is a slightly updated version, released in July 2019, of a report KFTC first published in 2018 about a trio of legislative proposals Congress needs to pass to do right by our miners and communities: The Reclaim Act, a bill to strengthen funding for the black lung disability trust fund, and a bill to protect miners' pensions. 

Kentucky Voices for Health Annual Meeting

This meeting will bring together health advocates, health care providers, insurers and policymakers from across the commonwealth to identify opportunities for collaboration to improve access to affordable health care, strengthen Kentucky’s social safety-net, prepare for the 2020 General Assembly, and partner to ensure a complete count during the 2020 Census.
