Chapter Development Armchair Seminar: Voting and Democracy
Join other KFTC members from across the state over the phone and online (webinar format) at 7:30 p.m. to learn a new skill related to building strong KFTC chapters. This opportunity is open to KFTC members in any existing KFTC chapter area or any KFTC member thinking about starting a KFTC chapter. You can join just one of them based on the topic you are interested in or join them all!
Wee Folk Fest
The Wee Folk Fest, which is in its 3rd year, is a family friendly event dedicated to building a sense of community and acceptance in Covington, Kentucky. The Northern Kentucky chapter will be registering voters this year at the festival, and raising awareness about important local and statewide issues.
Latino Festival in Lexington
Hispanic Heritage Day was first established in 1968 during the presidency of Lyndon B. Johnson to recognize the contributions of Hispanic Americans to the United States and to celebrate Hispanic heritage and culture. In 1988, it was expanded by Ronald Reagan to a month-long celebration starting on September 15th.
