Mining still threatens historic Benham and Lynch

In February roughly 100 people filled the Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission to comment on proposals that would weaken the ORSANCO water quality station.
ORSANCO Commission Meeting
The Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission (ORSANCO) will be discussing and potentially voting on proposed changes to their Pollution Control Standards. The last chance to make public comments will be at this meeting of its Commission, where they will hold their official business meeting. There will also be a comment after the meeting to share your reflections after the meeting.

There will be three public hearings, where people can make a public comment to be recordered in order to encourage the ORSANCO Commission to keep mandatory standards for the entire Ohio River valley.
