Posted by: KFTC Staff on April 10, 2015 at 01:50pm
KFTC members and friends celebrated the mountains and shared good music at a Brooklyn Loves Mountains concert March 28 at the Jalopy Theatre in Brooklyn.
Spearheaded by KFTC member Janette Wernegreen, formerly of Madison County, and other Brooklyn KFTC members including Colette Henderson and Sylvia Ryerson, the event featured music from a range of performers, including Demolition String Band, Gangsta Grass, and the Down Hill Strugglers.
Brooklyn Loves Mountains raised awareness and more than $3,000 for KFTC’s Canary Project. Click here for more pictures and information about the event.
