HB 127 Yard Sale at the Capitol: Great time, great work!

KFTC members from all over the state brought their well-loved books, a saxophone, a fiddle, several pieces of art, a walker, and even some dubious spring water from Floyd County to the Capitol today--all in the hopes of raising money for libraries, the arts, public health, and clean water protection.
We only raised $1 or $2 (which Stanley Sturgill from Benham delivered to the Governor's office), but members had great conversations with media and legislators, giving voice to how Kentucky's persistent lack of revenue has impacted them and their communities.
