SOKY Citizen Lobbying Workshop

Join us for a free workshop on becoming an effective citizen lobbyist.

Whether you're interested in heading to Frankfort to talk to your legislators, starting some conversations here at home, or writing a compelling letter to your editor, you'll leave ready to take action on issues important to you.

After a citizen lobbying overview, we'll split into informational breakout sessions, including:

• Community Farm Alliance  - join a session all about the Farm to Food Banks Program. 
• Bowling Green Fairness  - get caught up on the recent excitement building around a local Fairness Ordinance. 
• And SOKY KFTC will take a look at several statewide issue topics such as voting rights for former felons, clean energy, and fair tax reform that brings in the revenue the state needs after years of cuts to important programs.
