Lobby Training for new KFTC staff and members
KFTC members are welcome to join us for an orientation to citizen lobbying in Frankfort. We'll review how a bill becomes a law and provide a tour of the Capitol Annex and Capitol Building in Frankfort. We'll also discuss key goals and talking points related to KFTC's primary legislative campaigns. Please join us starting at 10:00 am EST/9 am CST in Room 113 of the Capitol Annex.

KY tax reform commission nearing completion of plan
The Kentucky Blue Ribbon Commission on Tax Reform has finalized a set of recommendations about how to improve Kentucky's tax structure and raise needed revenue. The full package could raise nearly $700 million in new dollars in the first year. It also includes several items, including an Earned Income Tax Credit, that KFTC members have long supported.
