The sin of corporate greed

There was a great op-ed in the Lexington Herald-Leader yesterday by Holly Shipley, a Lutheran minister who attended our religious leaders mountain witness tour a couple weeks ago. Its a really powerful piece that talks about environmentalism in the context of religious morality.
I saw sin the other day; and let me tell you, it wasn't pretty.
No, I didn't witness a bank robbery or view a pornographic movie. What I witnessed was the rape of our mountains.
I had the opportunity to attend a mountain top removal two-day trip to Eastern Kentucky with a religious-leaders group.
