The great folks who brought us the Story of Stuff also made this video that endeavors to explain the growing influence of corporations in our democracy, up to and including the troubling Supreme Court ruling last year in Citizens United Vs. the Federal Election Commission. 

KFTC doesn't have a specific analysis of how to challenge corporate personhood (as the makers of this video do), but we do see the growing influence of corporations and the very wealthy on our political system to be a serious problem for our democracy.

More Kentucky homeless people are voting, but some see that as a bad thing

The Louisville Courier Journal printed an article today about an increase in the voter registration of homeless people in Kentucky.  KFTC members have been a part of that increase by actively registering people in low-income communities (including homeless people) across the state.
